Lorenzo Tagliabue

is an Italian photographer based in Cantù, a small town nearby Como Lake, in northern Italy.

His passion for photography starts thriving back in his high school times, when he is easily carried away by the balance of form and light in every artwork presented during history of art lessons.

More than 10 years ago, Lorenzo buys his first camera and begins his ongoing journey as photographer, primarily capturing the sceneries offered by the Alps.

His love for nature and the surrounding mountains is definitely a fil rouge during his very first years of practice, when he starts developing his own method, based on pure technique and composition - like in those paintings he used to admire.

Nowadays, Lorenzo is mostly interested in street photography, where many other themes can be conveyed and captured within a single shot: the landscape, the people, the architecture. Pose and spontaneity are often in contrast, but end up wrapped in balance.

Photography is just another way for him to feel free and to tell you a story - about his subjects and about himself.
